Artist Statement: In this project I wanted to show a story through the photography. More specifically photojournalism. I chose photography because it's a fun way to express emotion. Im such a fan of photography it brings me joy.I really wanted to focus on the effects of Anxiety when I Started this project. When diagnosed with Anxiety there's voices inside your head constantly. You feel like screaming of the pain and stress. pre assessment

Environmental Documentary Project:
This project was stressful for me. It wasn't the topic I would of wanted to do. I had a tough time not shutting down getting distracted. Checking in with Roxy and having her help with difficulties was helpful. Critiques helped also when others would give it. When our video was over I thought the audience enjoyed our film by their reaction during it and at the end. Although it was tough along the way I thought our video was pretty good.
STOP MOTION
In this project we took a bunch a different photos alternating the color by putting colored sheets in front of the light.
LOGO PROJECT
logo on items
This Logo project was very difficult for me. You had to be creative and I'm not very creative. So through many different ideas. I finally just painted my initials on illustrator and I liked how it turned out. It was simple but effective. I realized not everything has to be extravagant. I also realized even if you think you cant do something, just push and you can. What I'm going to take away from this project is that you can be creative even if you think you not.
MY SKETCH
self portrait project
Why is it important to understand the intentions behind an artwork? A self-portrait in particular?
Its important to understand the intentions behind an artwork because you can interpret it in a way the artist didn't mean for you to. Lets say if you made a self portrait project that made a very big statement that could be disturbing to someone. They should know the intentions behind your project. Why you did what you did.
What problem solving skills are employed in making visual reflections of self?
The problem solving skills that are involved in making a a visual reflection of self is perseverance. If something doesn't look completely right or is not the way you want, you cant just give up. You have to think of different ways to do something or add something. Always persevere and don't give up. There will always be another way to do it.

lANDSCAPES
In this project I learned a lot of things. The definition of foreground is the closest one up.Objects should be large and very colorful, and bright, and very crisp textures.Middle ground is that the colors are less vibrate, and softer details, objects are midsize, and the smaller details are lost. Background the objects blur, and colors blend, and it's way less vibrate. First of I learned how to get the correct size picture into Photoshop. Then after I got the photo I learned how to use the quick selection tool and used the refine edge. I never used those before so I was just figuring it out. It was helpful with the move tool also. Free transform helped a lot in this project. The difference between a Photoshop document and a jpeg in Photoshop you can only open the document in Photoshop with a jpeg you can open it anywhere.

Project ReflectionDuring this project I used Jenny. She told me things like her favorite food which is a taco and the weapon she would use is a baseball bat and her favorite movies Shawshank Redemption. With all that information I decided to make Jenny into a taco. All the things she told me I incorporated into my project. I took Jenny's face and refined it to blur into the taco. I gave her taco face a body also including Morgan Freeman from Shawshank Redemption next to her with a stick figure body. I put a taco in his hand and a baseball hat in her hand. With the background because her face was a taco I wanted Taco Bell to be the background.Taco Bell is like mother load for tacos so it just fitted well. The hardest part in this project was using the magnetic lasso tool. I would move a little then it would mess up.I had to start all over but I kept going and eventually got it. I learned in this project that I love putting different pictures to create a body. One thing I love is putting a bunch of pictures together to create one big picture. The rubric we were given was really helpful because I knew exactly what to do and the requirements. Over all this project at first was a little overwhelming but all in all really fun.
